Can we take our own food and drink? - Cleveland Police have applied a sensible alcohol limit to persons bringing their own drink to the event. This is to prevent alcohol related incidents and accidents and therefore should be respected. A one hand limit will be in place (an amount you can carry in one hand) and an amount judged as sensible for personal use. As a guide 1 bottle of wine or 4-6 cans of lager/beer/cider per person. Food and drink will be available to buy within the site.
PLEASE NOTE: Searches will be carried out upon entry and no glass will be permitted on site. Once you have entered the site you can leave but cannot return with alcohol. Alcohol will only be allowed in on your first entry.
Excess alcohol will be confiscated on entry and available to collect when you leave. Please note a licensed bar is available on site.
These rules have been agreed by Cleveland Police, Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council and English Heritage.
Can we take our own chairs? - Yes, bring along anything that can be easily carried. Remember you have to take it back home with you.
Can we buy tickets on the day or pay on the door? - You are advised to buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets are limited and are expected to sell out.
How old do you have to be to attend? - Over 16´s may attend but only when accompanied by an adult. One adult may bring in 2 over 16´s. The bars will be operating a challenge 21 policy to prevent underage drinking.
Is there car parking facilities at the venue? - Car parking will be available at Prior Pursglove College.
